I always feel a little nostalgic when autumn leaves begin to fall and the veld is covered in pink, purple and white cosmos as far as the eye can see.

 

Seasons come and go and I’m getting older.  Do I feel old? Well, I wouldn’t know because I’ve never been old before.  In fact, the more years I spend on this earth, the more I seem to connect with my younger self.  The main difference is that I used to be tired after a night of jolling; now I’m just tired!

 

No matter what the season in one’s life, it’s always a good idea to make room for laughter every day.  A smile, a giggle or a good old belly-laugh can magically transform those sad old wrinkles into attractive laughter lines. So let’s deliberately keep an eye open for the delightful and the absurd: it’s the perfect way to "kill the blues".  Of course, I can highly recommend a chocolate cupcake to effectively do the same job!
